Rob VanDhyke
Bothell, WA
Rob VanDhyke was born and raised in the Chicago area,
served in the U.S. Air Force
for twenty-three years and graduated with a BS in Electrical
Engineering from the
University of Maryland while serving in Germany.
Marquetry became a serious
interest after learning the craft from a German Master
in Marquetry, and has
continued to be so for the past twenty-five years.
His work has been shown and
sold internationaly in Europe, Asia and the United States.
"I try to make the work
speak to me and to those who view it." In addition
to marquetry, Rob is also an
accomplished wood-carver.
