pieces to us and helping me find the perfect one for my vision!!!! This painting depicts the gallant hero St. George who saves the King's daughter from the Dragon. His faith in God taught the kingdom never to fear: God is here. I felt the handiwork of God's artistry in this beautiful piece - as though He had prepared it for me before I even conceived of drawing it. I simply followed the grain to form the image you see, and let the remaining grain sing for itself through its 3 dimensional form and texture. As a recent graduate of architecture and music, the intricate beauty of this wood continued to heighten my awareness of how grand our Master Architect, Composer, and Artist is. I thank God for the opportunity to create something with Him for those I love. |
