Marquetry and Inlaid Picture
making are a love of my life. I make a good many pictures which I either
keep or give away. I do not sell them. Also I make very good saws (which

I have been in Marquetry and Inlaid
Picture making since my retirement in early 1990 and I am almost totally
self taught. It is something I took to very well and worked very hard at.
I founded "The Original Marquetry Classroom" in early 1993.
This is a small ongoing classroom dedicated to
the principals of originality in the making of Inlaid Pictures. It takes
place twice monthly in Louisville, Colorado and is free to anyone who wants
to learn how to make Inlaid Pictures.
I have actually been teaching my methods
since 1991. Some of my methods are different and in some ways controversial
to some people. I will reveal everything I know, or think I know, as time
goes by. I am like a fish in a barrel. Shoot at me if you must, but let
us all learn in the process.
