KINDRED SPIRITS
.
A level of intimacy surmounting mere physicality,
Both souls are like ivy on a trellis intertwined.
Their spirits do soar above as eagles in the
sky
With thoughts transcending the need to merely
survive
With embodiments that are as forever bonded
oneness.
They know not where it is going or from where
it came
They know not if they loved before or if they
will again.
They do know that somewhere, somehow, and
for a long, long time
They've met, they'll meet again, they've walked
this road before
With threads of being, close knit, side by
side, strength on strength,
Forever together, forming a whole, totally
strong through eternity,
Though the fabric may be disconnected and
many miles apart.
