ABOUT THE RETAIL PRICE SHEET:

a) Every line on the
Price Sheet represents a bundle of veneer.
b) The bundle can be
any number of sheets. All sheets in a bundle are sliced from
the log
in sequence and thus are perfectly sequence matched...
* NOTE: The "Available"
column just tells you if the bundle must be purchased as
a complete
unit (all the sheets) or if you can purchase single sheets from it.
** NOTE: If you are
purchasing the full bundle you are entitled to a discount price
which
varries from case to case. You must inquire for a price quote.
Column Headings:
-
1. Code => The ordering code
to use when you are referring to a bundle of veneer.

2. Veneer => The type of veneer
in the bundle.
-
3. Figure - Notes => Distinctive
features of the veneer.

4. Available > Sheets => Single
Sheets can be purchased from the bundle.
Bundle => At least 8 sheets must be purchased (some exceptions).
*Bundle => ALL sheets must be purcased as a unit.

5. Pieces or Sheets in Stock
= Number of leaves of veneer present in the bundle.

6. Length" = Length in inches.
-
7. Width" = Width in inches.
-
8. Unit Cost $/sq.ft. = Cost
per square foot (Length" x Width")/(144)
-
9. $/Sheet = Cost of each sheet
in the bundle.
Abbreviations:
-
A or A-B = Grade of the veneer
-
CVG = Clear Vertical Grain
-
F/C = Flat Cut
-
Fig = Figured
-
FS = Flitch Stock
-
H/R = Half round cut
-
Half F/C = Half Flat Cut
-
HRT = Width of Heartwood
-
KT = Knot at a specific location
-
Mix = Mixture
-
Q/C = Quarter Cut
-
R/C = Rotary Cut
-
Rift = Rift Cut
