Turn the veneer for the next cut. This is the cut WITH the grain of the wood.
Remember to reposition the base board so your saw doesn't follow a grove made by
previous cuts. Also remember to measure the face of the straight edge as before, to
insure a perfect 90 degree cut through the veneer. If you are cutting multiple layers of
veneer, make sure the stack hasn't shifted. You can use masking tape on the edges or
double sided tape between layers for more control. Another way to hold the veneers is
to staple or pin them in line (on the waste sides of the stack).
